Spring is coming....
The days are getting longer and warmer. We still have approximately 1 meter (3 feet) of snow in the yard, but spring is breaking through anyway! Below you will see a crocus blooming outside of our diningroom window - it is close against the house and between the wall and the bank of snow. Amazing!

I love how inspiring those early spring flowers can be. It's like a reminder to wake yourself up and shake out the winter to get ready for all the wonderful work of spring!
Isn't it fun to get that grill out for the first time? I just wanted to say I just found your blog and think it is such a cute design I really like it!
