The kids played outside in the snow last night.

Look at what a gorgeous day it turned out to be! Certainly very different from the barrage of snow yesterday.
It was so warm that I just had to hang out my laundry. Well, just my hand washing actually, since I only have a stand up drying rack so far. It made me feel good anyway. I even managed to squeeze in a walk around the neighbourhood today - it was wonderful! I listened to the nuthatches and chickadees and noticed how the sun sparkled off the snow, and got lots of good fresh air.

Goodness sakes, you've certainly posted lots since the Bag Lady checked in last! Busy times around your place.
All that snow will certainly give you lots of moisture for the coming year (lots of mud for the coming spring, too, eh?)
The road bans will be on here, too, pretty soon - especially if we reach our forecasted high of +7 today!!
Here's hoping it really IS spring. Now that we've started calving, we don't need any more really cold weather!!

I am definately NOT looking forward to the mud... this whole area is clay! As we began clearing the building site last spring the mud almost oozed over the tops of my rubber boots.
